Thursday was a train ride to Stadium around 10:30am, and then a first class flight to SJC around 12pm. I walked for two hours after that, passing near Levi’s Stadium and seeing many fans heading to the game. My only issue was carrying so much weight, as I chose to bring a duffle bag instead of a suitcase. That plus my backpack made it tough to walk far—and I was walking far. I traveled about five miles along the Guadalupe River/Path. But at some point, time expired for walking and I took Uber to the venue, Fremont Bank. It was only about 10 miles away but took 45 minutes due to heavy traffic. It also cost about $35. Yeah, Bay Area traffic once again.
At the bank, I was escorted up by staff. We were on the sixth story and had a very tiny green room, but yet a fun show, performing “Gangster,” for some of the staff. Then it was time for some pictures and a little wine (though they only had white wine left). Afterwards, I was driven to Pleasanton and checked into my hotel, the Larkspur Landing—where I had stayed the week prior.
I quickly hit the road and went to the gas station for some beers and then to In and Out for some food. I just got one burger and a strawberry shake this time. Their burger really do taste best fresh.
Afterwards, it was some work and rest at the hotel and then sleep.
