4am came fast.
I arose and got a ride to the airport from Tenaya’s brother. About zero traffic at 4:30 in the morning. The airport was also quite empty and security had maybe one couple in front of me. That’s one huge perk about the 6am flights.
Inside there were plenty of open seats and I relaxed for about half an hour. For this flight, I did have a first class upgrade, so I boarded early and sat down near the window. We were delayed in taking off until 6:30 AM when the city noise curfew ended. Just a little strange that they have flights set to takeoff earlier when they can't even takeoff. The meal was an egg and sausage biscuit, and yogurt, and nothing else but that was fine. I wasn't really that hungry. For my drink, I just got water. I maybe rested a very short while, and soon we were landing in Seattle. I walked briskly over to the train station and border the Link train. I rode that for about an hour and finally reached Capitol Hill, where I walked back to the condo. It was quite cold but I had my pea coat, scarf, and cap.
