Travel Diary

Nothing was planned on Sunday, but we did spend the morning watching Redzone with John. I guess we watched a little bit of the afternoon games but I really didn't wanna watch Kansas City, so I tried to avoid that game.

In the early evening we drove out to the beach to catch the sunset near the Boathouse, which had burned down a month or two prior. That was too bad, as it was a nice place to get drinks and watch sunsets. Oh well. I sent the drone up to catch the sunset and got some good video from that.

Then we headed over to the parking lot where the Cape Cabaret is located and visited a spot that we used to go to for drinks. The place seemed to have closed down, but apparently reopened in the location where the wine bar was – as that's now closed (pity, although the wine was never stellar there). The new place is called No. 3 and it's a fantastic beer bar with quite a few choices. It was pretty deserted, but I guess it was Sunday night. We sampled a selection of drinks and chatted with the bartender and other people for a while and then headed home.
