Travel Diary

5am came pretty quickly. I resisted snoozing and got up. This way I’d have plenty of time. I made a final video and then checked out. The Uber ride to the airport was close, although still $20. These Uber trips were certainly adding up in cost, but all part of the process.

At SJC, I checked my bag and then went to TSA. The wait times there are a bit long sometimes since they don’t have separate lines, but I had time to kill. After that, I waited by the gate for a while and finally boarded. The flight took off and we were on our way to Seattle.

The meal was a bagel sandwich and wasn’t bad. It was the only hot option regardless. We touched down in San Jose and I grabbed my bag from Carousel 12. As usual, the Uber cost was around $70, so as usual, I headed to the train. I thought about getting off at Stadium, but the cost was still $20 from there and it didn't seem worth it to avoid a 15-minute walk from Cap Hill Station. I stayed on the train and just walked home as I usually do.
