Travel Diary

Another night flight, but that’s all good. No crowds. I had my neighbor drive me there and we parked at the secret drop-off point. Probably wasn’t necessary at that time, but never hurts. I walked into the airport and voila, no crowds. TSA was pretty light, although having the Clear people cut in line after about five pilots and flight attendants did was quite annoying. Not sure I like that program.

I had been upgraded to first class and boarded early. Got a window seat, although not much to see at night. Soon we were heading to Chicago. The meal was just the snack pack, which of course wasn't heated. I had that and a scotch. Then it was time to sleep. Well, to at least try. And that didn’t go well, so not much rest that night.
