For Sunday, we headed over to Boise again to see the Birds of Prey exhibit. It was now 106° on this day, although the heat wasn't actually too bad. Again, phones had trouble taking pictures for too long. The exhibit has not too many birds, but some impressive ones. For starters they have three condors, which were outside catching some sun (surprisingly). They have some hawks and owls as well. Indoors they have even more birds, and some really cool ones like Harpy Eagles and Peregrine Falcons. They have a bird show, though it was fairly short and only featured one bird, yet was still nice to see. And admission to the place was a fair price

Afterwards, we headed back to Middleton. (It was a weekend of a lot of driving.) We had an early dinner and then played another game of Scrabble. Then it was time to get back to the airport. There was no line for TSA Precheck, which wasn't surprising. I got upgraded just before the flight and once again got to board first. I noticed there were a lot of clouds coming in--dark ones. Soon we were in the air. I got an old-fashioned for my drink since I wouldn't be driving back in Seattle. An hour later, we landed. I walked over to the Link station and waited about 15 minutes for the train to arrive.

Since it was late, the traffic on the train was pretty light, so there was no problem getting a seat. I mainly worked on learning Spanish. The time passed and eventually we were in Capitol Hill. I exited at Denny Street so I could go past Dick’s Burgers, but the line was far too long so I passed on that. I did go into the QFC so I could purchase some healthy food for the week (time to start eating better again). And then it was back home to my quaint condo.
