Travel Diary

With a later flight, I could sleep in. At least until 7am, but that beat 3am. I arose, did a video, and enjoyed the last few minutes of time at the hotel. Then the flight was delayed, so a little more time. Always better to know about delays before leaving for the airport.

I took Uber to the airport and found zero wait at security. I was upgraded to first class, though it was the first row which has the limitation of having to need overhead space, so boarding early was necessary. I was actually first to board, which was cool. They seem to not allocate as much time for extra needs, kids, and military, or maybe first class and 100k is above that now. Well, extra needs still came first I think.

For the meal, I got the Korean BBQ, which was okay, though nothing special. I enjoyed only water for the drink since I was driving once I reached Seattle.

In Seattle, I exited the plane and then headed to the Link station, then across it and over the overpass. On the other side, I went down the stairs and walked to the parking lot. There was my car, waiting safe and sound. It was so nice to have parking not be expensive ($62 for my time there). Paying to exit took forever as the ticket scanner is a mess. But finally, it worked and I exited and drove home. Another California trip completed. This was a nice routine.
