Travel Diary

Christmas Day was upon us. I slept in a bit, but the day was fairly limited in time. Andy, Merit, and Tanner joined us in the afternoon and we opened presents. Then it was a nice early dinner. There wasn’t any time for games as I had an early flight home.

I got a ride with Andy and Merit back to the airport, but left my ear buds at the house. I only knew because my phone notified me of that. It’s a very handy feature as soon it would have been too late. We turned back and I finally located them down the side of a couch. Then back to the airport.

Extra time was needed as I was checking a bag—the first time in years! But I had bottles of booze and they couldn’t be carried on.

Once again, I had the upgrade, so it was a comfy flight home. I opted to save on Uber at SeaTac and took the train home. Finally, I was back in the condo once again. The next trip would be in only two days.
