Franny and Zoey

Published in 1961 (I finished it on June 07, 2025)
Great prose, and quite memorable at times. Some wonderful observations about poetry and how it should leave something with the reader. That said, the book does not really go anywhere with the plot. It’s more of a slice of life of the characters and how they reflect and deal with their past and the losses they incurred. I guess it’s really just two short stories merged and it does feel that way. It’s interesting and if you have a copy lying around then consider reading
