Book Reviews

So many books (you know the rest)

Hard Road to Freedom
by James Horton
Published in 2001 (I finished it on May 13, 2006)
I started the book for a Black History class and decided to actually finish it weeks after the quarter ended. The book is informative and enlightening. Hopefully, history classes are focusing on more of the real US History, warts and all. Most of the book is done well, though it gets somewhat editorial at times and loses steam after WWII. It wasn’t easy to finish.
