I wasn’t sure if I wanted to try “The Hunger Games” yet, so I got this instead since it was recommended. It’s…well…mediocre. I did give it a chance, but no, it’s just dull. The author is very creative and works hard at his characters and events, but aside from the main character’s caretaker, Henrie, no one really stands out as special.
